Annual VGS Competition 2008

Event: Annual VGS (Virtual Golf Society) 2008, Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Course, West Midlands, England.

Result: Ending on the third place with 36 point stableford (Richard: 43 and :39) and also winning the longest drive (see my thropy on the header of this page) – hureeeeee!!!.

Whitefields Golf Course

Windmill Village Hotel and Golf Club

Located between both B’Ham & Coventry. A challenging, executive style, 18 hole golf course, 5213 yards, S.S.S. 66, over rolling parkland, encompassing several man-made & natural water features. 98 room hotel, catering, banqueting and full leisure facilities on site.

Ansty Golf Centre

Fact file: Ansty Golf Centre, Coventry, Warwickshire, England, CV7 9JL. Half a mile from Junction 2 M6 and parallel to the M69 is the B4065 signposted to Ansty. Parkland. 18 holes 6150 yards. S.S.S. 69 Par 71.  Event: The third game with mates from Virtual Golf Society – Midlands, arranged by Steve Evat – 6 chaps were joined.

The Belfry Golf Centre

Fact file: The Belfry, Wishaw, Warwickshire, England, B76 9PR. Leave M42 at Junction 9 and follow signs for Lichfield. The Belfry is on A446. Parkland courses. The Brabazon at The Belfry – 18 holes 7118 yards. S.S.S. 74. PGA National – 18 holes 7053 yards. S.S.S. 72. The Derby – 18 holes 6009 yards. S.S.S. 69. Event: The second game with mates from Virtual Golf Society – arranged by Euan Rumble, 4 chaps were joins. Verdict: I was so exciting for the first invitation that we sould book for PGA course which is probably one of the best course in England. Unfortunately, some missunderstanding with the reception was happened, when we couldn’t use 2 fore 1 voucer. We have to book at least 16 days in advance (cheaper means serviceless). So we switched to Derby course, just along side with the PGA course.
